THE RHOADES KOREAN MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION The Rhoades Korean Martial Arts Association was founded of the purpose of promoting traditional Martial Arts throughout the United States. In today's society, with the rapid growth of the martial arts, there is a strong need for an organization that is long on support and short on politics. The difference of this organization is simple: The RKMAA is here for its members benefits, not its own. We are like one big family. We want everyone to be successful both personally and professionally. The Association's main purpose is simply to help one another. The Rhoades Korean Martial Arts Association provides certification with worldwide recognition. The RKMAA provides seminars and clinics that will promote the teaching of Hapkido and Taekwondo. The RKMAA has set high standards of respect and discipline in the martial arts. The RKMAA is currently developing new study materials, such as videos and audio tapes to help standardize traditional techniques. Schools that join our Association are not expected to change their poomse (forms) or style to teaching immediately. Members are encouraged to integrate slowly, and add our curriculum as a minimum requirement for promotions. This allows the school to maintain its own independence while building to a standard of excellence, inherent in the training and principals of the Rhoades Korean Martial Arts Association. We warmly welcome all sincere martial artists to our growing family. If you are seeking an organization that is willing to offer support all year long, not just when the fee's are due, then you need to look no further.
